Omaha, NB-based infoUSA Inc. signed DoubleClick Inc. in New York as its ad
server partner to sell advertising on its Web site.

With over one million hits per day, infoUSA is a business-to-business Web
site, offering yellow and white page directories based on the company’s
proprietary database, along with a variety of its own products, including
sales leads, business credit reports, profiles, mailing lists, business
directories and CD-ROMs.

“The exponential growth in traffic to our site, combined with the heavy demand for
our proprietary content, gives advertisers a great opportunity to sell their
products and services to small businesses and entrepreneurs,” said Vinod Gupta, infoUSA chairman and chief executive officer. “Advertisers will
be able to buy banner ads that are targeted to this business-to-business
market as well as to buy ad space within a specific product category that is
related to a user’s directory search.”
