San Francisco-based LinkExchange Inc. named Mark Bozzini, former president and CEO of Pete’s Brewing Co., as its chief executive officer.

Bozzini, 39, spent eight years at Pete’s, where he established the company’s
corporate strategy, managed 150% average annual growth and directed the
company’s 1995 initial public offering.

“Bozzini has an outstanding track record of growing small companies, managing
tremendous growth and building unique brands,” said Michael Moritz, the
company’s lead investor at Sequoia Capital. “As LinkExchange moves into its
next stage of growth, Bozzini is perfectly suited to manage the packaging,
distribution and consumption of all LinkExchange products.”

Under Bozzini’s watch, Pete’s Brewing increased sales from $130,000 to $80
million, and in November of 1995, he directed an initial public offering,
which raised $55 million.

“I made the decision to join LinkExchange because of the company’s tremendous
talent and vision and because of the opportunity presented by its position in
the market,” said Bozzini. “This team is as passionate and committed as I am
to being an industry leader.”

Founded in March of 1996, LinkExchange says it is the Web’s largest
advertising network with a membership of over 200,000 sites.
