Media Metrix, The PC Meter Company
in New York City, named Robert G. Ivins as senior vice president and member
of the company’s Executive Committee.
He will be responsible for advanced analytics and application development, e-
commerce measurement initiatives, special client sector services, and
strategic business development.
Ivins is a pioneer in the Web measurement community and a founding member of
I/PRO (Internet Profiles Corp.), a provider of site-centric World Wide Web
measurement services. As a senior vice president at I/PRO, Ivins focused on
developing and delivering Web measurement and analysis tools and was a member
of the executive committee. He has extensive experience in marketing, product
development, advanced analytics, and consulting services.
Before I/PRO, Ivins worked at Nielsen Marketing Research from 1988 through
1995, where he founded Nielsen’s advanced analytical group.
Media Metrix measures real-time, actual usage of the Web, proprietary online
services, computer software, hardware, and other new interactive
applications.
