Microsoft’s bCentral small-business
site on Wednesday partnered with reverse marketplace imandi.com, in an agreement that lets
visitors to the Microsoft (MSFT) site search and request quotes for business
products and services.

The deal is the first step in what the companies expect will eventually
develop into a more multi-faceted relationship. Aside from the fact that
this agreement aligns imandi.com with Microsoft, it also represents the
company’s focus on the small business market. Financial details weren’t
disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will create co-branded
pages on the bCentral site, which will allow visitors search and request
quotes through imandi.com.

“The Microsoft bCentral sponsorship enables imandi.com to reaffirm our
leadership in the reverse marketplace segment,” said Raghave Kher,
president and chief executive officer of imandi.com.

This deal represents the fourth strategic partnership that imandi.com has
forged in recent months. It also counts America Online/Digital City, Epinions.com, and iShip.com among its partners.
