mySimon Inc. got a big boost on
Monday, striking a deal with USAToday.com to be the newspaper site’s
exclusive provider of comparison shopping services.

The deal gives mySimon, which is owned by CNET Networks Inc.,
exposure to a larger Web audience. USAToday.com gets 15 million unique
visitors a month. The deal also gives the newspaper’s site more content to
offer its users.

USATODAY.com’s link to mySimon will allow its users to learn which
retailers carry what goods and at what prices. The shopping service also
provides information, such as detailed merchant data, charts on products,
price histories, and personalized e-mail alerts.

Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.
