NBCi Names Veteran to Head Sales and Marketing

NBC Internet Inc. named John J. McMenamin, a
veteran of both iVillage and Time Warner, as executive vice president of
sales and marketing.

McMenamin will report to NBCi President and COO Edmond Sanctis.
McMenamin will oversee NBCi’s advertising, sponsorship and integrated media
sales, including strategies that tie together broadcast and cable television,
radio and Internet opportunities.


He also will be responsible for overall sales and marketing of NBCi’s suite of
Internet properties, including the flagship Snap portal service, XOOM.com, NBC.com, AccessHollywood.com, VideoSeeker and NBC Interactive Neighborhood.

McMenamin most recently served as vice president and general manager of
sponsorship for iVillage.com: The Women’s Network.
