NET@DDRESS Names VentureDirect Worldwide as Online AOR

VentureDirect Worldwide, an integrated direct marketing and media company, has
been named as the primary online advertising agency for NET@DDRESS, a free e-mail service
developed by USA.NET.

VentureDirect will plan and develop online marketing programs to acquire free
e-mail subscribers. Billings were not disclosed. VentureDirect Worldwide has
provided online advertising services to USA.NET since 1997.

“This deal is part of a larger trend,” said Richard Baumer, president of
VentureDirect. “The Internet is a truly interactive medium, which makes it
perfect for direct response. Marketers are realizing this potential and
seeking online agencies that understand how to generate response.”

New York City-based VentureDirect Worldwide’s services include list
management, list brokerage, insert brokerage and management, card pac
marketing, online lead generation, online media planning/buying, Web site
representation, print media buying, magazine space sales, recruitment
advertising sales, and custom services.

USA.NET Inc. is an electronic messaging company
that uses a patent-pending mail engine architecture to offer e-mail services
to
consumers and businesses. The USA.NET consumer offerings also include co-
branded service offerings for Netscape WebMail and AmExMail. USA.NET also offers a commercial
e-mail
outsourcing solution, PostOffice.Net, designed to reduce the
costs and demands of managing a business e-mail system.
