NetMind, a supplier of
change detection solutions for the consumer and enterprise markets, announced
new features, a new look and improved performance to Mind-it, the company’s
free online service that tracks changes to Web-based data.

The firm said Mind-it can be used to track both personal and business interests–from
genealogy and travel sites to prices, such as air fares and computer prices,
and product specifications. Individuals can monitor one or multiple sites;
there is no client to download. Web ads also can be monitored. E-mail is also used
to alert users of changes.

“Tracking dynamic Web information presents big challenges to everyday Web
users,” said Matt Freivald, founder and CEO of NetMind. “Users spend
incredible amounts of time re-visiting the same Web sites over and over to see
if the information has changed. Mind-it combines the best of both e-mail and
the Web in a very intuitive, highly-scalable solution.”

Mind-it’s new interface has easy-to-understand options for adding and deleting
pages and viewing a full list of Mind-it requests, the company said.
