Interactive agency Nicholson NY said it
has been selected by the New York Daily News to rebuild the
newspaper’s two-year-old Internet-based publishing system and to redesign
navigation for the rebranded Web
site.
The new system, slated to launch in late June, will provide editors with more
flexibility by eliminating technology obstacles, Nicholson said.
Tracking and analysis systems will monitor traffic patterns and generate
usage and section-popularity statistics that will help the publisher and its
advertisers better target consumers through the site. The site will also
include enhanced article- and archive-search features.
