OgilvyInteractive Creates Pro Bono Site for Diabetes Research Fund

Jun 25, 1998

OgilvyInteractive in New York completed a pro bono site for the Harley-Davidson Cafe Big Ride for a (diabetes) Cure.

The sitelet, which resides on the American Diabetes Web site, promotes the Harley-Davidson Cafe Big Ride for a Cure, which Ridemaster John Ratzenberger (Cliff on the Cheers TV show) will lead from New York City, ending in Las Vegas on July 4.

Ratzenberger, the father of a diabetic child, has raised millions of dollars
for diabetes research. The Ratzenberger Diabetes Research Fund is dedicated to
the operation and maintenance of a Web site that will enable researchers
around the world to share information while working for a cure.

Visitors to the sitelet can make a donation online, learn more about the
Ratzenberger Diabetes Research Fund, check out a map of the ride, read about
diabetes and see a list of sponsors, and more.

Working on the site were OgilvyOne Account Director Christina Carino, Art Director Dayman Bruck, Writer Hal Katkov, Producers Kate Robinson and Katie Scheding and Designers Pam Mitchell, Terence Pena and Rachael Heapps.
