Promosis Inc. a Marblehead, MA-based
promotion-marketing firm, developed an online travel promotion for the latest
release of Planet Direct’s personal Web service.

The interactive sweepstakes and instant-win game, entitled “Around the Planet
in 80 Days,” was conceived, designed, and programmed by Promosis and
integrated
into Andover, MA-based Planet Direct’s Web service. Billings were not
disclosed.

The promotion provides players with a personal “travel suitcase,” an on-screen
graphic into which members “paste” a series of “site stickers” found
throughout the Planet Direct service. Players are awarded a sweepstakes entry
each time they collect five stickers for their suitcase.

Grand prize is a “Concorde to Europe Vacation for Two.” Other prizes include
Tall Ships Cruises, Canadian Rockies Adventures, and Jamaican Resort
Vacations.

In addition, five special stickers are programmed to deliver a daily instant
win prize, including Planet Direct caps, t-shirts, and magazine subscriptions
provided by The Electronic Newsstand. A total of more than 500 sweepstakes and
instant-win prizes will be awarded during the promotion, which concludes March
1.

Planet Direct is a majority-owned subsidiary company of CMG Information Services.
