Real Media Builds Sweepstakes Mini-Site for Honda

New York City-based Real Media has
created and built a
sweepstakes mini-site for Honda and is running it on LEXIS-NEXIS’ Academic Universe,
which reaches millions of college students.

The three-month campaign includes a banner rotation as well as a sweepstakes
promotion. The mini-site is tied to
Honda’s Spring Break Giveaway and is designed to generate qualified leads for
Honda in the college market. The sweepstakes winner gets a $500 travel voucher
to use for a Spring Break vacation.

Spending on the campaign was not disclosed.

Real Media exclusively represents LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe for all aspects
of
the site’s advertising. The site delivers 8 million to 12 million banner ad
impressions per month. Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and
administrative staff at the 850+ college and universities are able to use a
standard Web browser to access LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe both on and off
campus.

Separately, Real Media, which operates a network of more than 570 locally
branded Web sites, made three significant personnel changes.

director of advertising sales since April 1998, has been promoted to the newly
created position of chief marketing officer.
