Real Media Signs New Clients for Open AdStream

New York City-based Real Media Inc. said a number of additional
companies have signed to employ its Open AdStream (OAS) ad server software,
including Salon Magazine, Bloomberg and USAToday.

In addition, MP3, Discovery Communications Inc. and five
major European Web sites have signed on with OAS.
The European sites include: TF1 television in France; Infoseek.de in Germany; De Telegraaf, a newspaper in the Netherlands; Teletext, a UK news site; and
Eurosport.com, the European equivalent to ESPN.

With an installed base of 500 Web companies, more than 5,000 Web sites are
using OAS to serve more than 6.5 billion online ads each month from 200
different major advertisers, Real Media said.

In January, Real Media announced upgrades to OAS including an exclusive
Privacy Proxy that blocks third party ad servers from tracking Web visitors
across multiple sites and building user profiles, while still allowing them
to deliver and track ad deliveries.

OAS incorporates tools to manage the entire advertising process from lead
generation to billing.

Real Media also operates a network of more than 550 locally branded Web
sites, mostly newspapers.
