RealNetworks Creates Site Partner Program

Streaming media company RealNetworks Inc. launched a Site Partner Program, designed to promote streaming media-enabled Web sites to new media advertising agencies.


RealNetworks said the Web site resource program is designed to promote the
placement of streaming audio, video and animation advertising on streaming
media enabled Web Sites.


The company said it will promote site partners to the members of its Real
Agency Affiliates Program. In addition, Site Partners will have access to the
latest training in creating streaming media advertisements. They will also be
a part of a network of streaming media advertising enablers such as Ad Serving and Auditing companies.


Charter Affiliate Site members include: ABC.com, ABCNews.com, AENtv,
broadcast.com, CBS SportsLine, Chicago Cubs, CMPnet, DailyBriefing,
Disney.com, TheDJ.com, ESPN SportsZone, Film.com, Forbes Digital Tool, House
of Blues, JamTV, LiveConcerts.com, Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, Mr.
Showbiz, MusicNet, NASCAR online, NBA.com, NFL.com, NY Times Interactive,
Psuedo.com, Real.com, Rolling Stone Network, Seattle Mariners, SonicNet.com,
Timecast and The Weather Channel site.


“With over 34 million primary and secondary users of the RealPlayer, our
audience has reached mass media proportions,” said Jeff Lehman, vice
president, Advertising Sales, RealNetworks, Inc. “We’ve developed the Site
Partner Program to help advertisers leverage this high response audience
across a growing list of Web sites that accept RealNetworks enabled rich media advertising.”


Members of the program must have RealNetworks technology incorporated into
their site, have the ability to manage rich media advertisement traffic, and
be able to generate an aggregate of no less than 3 million page views per
month.
