Rocketworks Inc. launched an integrated
online and off-line marketing campaign for Gradeworks.com, a new online
educational tool that helps to establish a stronger connection between
teachers and parents.

The marketing plan includes an extensive print campaign with select education
publications, backed by online media buys targeting the same audience.

Spending was not disclosed.

Gradeworks.com is also putting a strong emphasis on online and traditional
public relations, including major education conventions and conferences.

“We feel that grassroots efforts are key with this audience,” said Wendy
McAllister, marketing manager for Rocketworks. “Education trade shows are an
important part of our mix, and there is a lot of opportunity to reach
educators via viral marketing on the Web.”

Gradeworks.com gives any teacher the building blocks to create his or her own
class Web site within minutes. Parents and teachers can exchange information
schedule
face-to-face meetings, resulting in a stronger parent-teacher-student
connection.

Gradeworks.com is stockpiled with class information, not only about student
grades but also announcements, personalized teacher comments and the due
dates for tests and assignments.

Rocketworks designs, builds, hosts, and maintains Web sites for businesses
and associations around the country. Earlier this year, Rocketworks launched
its first commercial site, thePlunge.com a party-planning Web site.
It will announce its third site later this year.
