Snyder Enters Joint-Marketing Agreement With iVillage

Bethesda, MD-based Snyder Communications Inc. and iVillage inked a joint-marketing agreement
to expand the reach of Snyder’s Your Kids marketing programs to the Internet
via Parent Soup. Launch is scheduled for April 1998.


Snyder Communications will use its sampling and WallBoard programs, which
target millions of dual income households with young children in private
institutional daycare centers, to support the Parent Soup/Your Kids Internet
site. Financial terms were not disclosed.


Under the agreement, the Parent Soup/Your Kids Internet address will be
included on one million sample pack boxes, and more than 10,000 Your Kids
WallBoards displayed in daycare locations nationwide.


Parents will be able to access expanded editorial from the Your Kids WallBoard
program and participate in “live” consumer polls and surveys each sponsored by
a Your Kids WallBoard advertised brand. A number of Your Kids’ sponsors,
including Kellogg’s, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Gerber, and Reckitt & Colman will
participate.

to seek out new ways to benefit from the power of the Internet and other new
technologies to enhance our ability to build brand awareness for our Fortune
500 clients,” said Daniel M. Snyder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
of Snyder.


New York City-based, iVillage and iVillage.com, provide an destination for
women, claiming more than 56 million page views per month. iVillage’s branded
communities include, among others, Parent Soup (or AOL keyword: parentsoup),
ParentsPlace.com, Better Health, and
Armchair Millionaire. Members of these online communities have the opportunity
to exchange information, advice, and offer support on subjects including
parenting, work, and health.
