New York City-based Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) promoted James Smith to
national director of advertising sales and hired Allison Corson as Western
region
manager.

Both will work to offer integrated marketing and advertising opportunities
across the SOE network, the company said.

Over the past two and a half years in various positions at Sony Online, Smith
has been instrumental in attracting blue-chip advertisers to the SOE network,
the company said. Previously, he served as the company’s national ad manager.

Corson was a new media account executive at the Weather Channel’s weather.com.
She will be based out of SOE’s Los Angeles office, and will report to Smith.
Prior to the Weather Channel, she held positions in radio sales at KKBT-FM
in Los Angeles and Infinity Broadcasting.

The SOE network consists of The Station@sony.com,
Sony Music Online
and Sony Pictures Entertainment Online.
