Sprint Selects AppNet as Consumer Interactive AOR

AppNet Inc. was named the new consumer
interactive media and marketing agency of record for Sprint’s consumer long distance division.

AppNet will develop and execute campaigns designed to acquire new customers.
Billings were not disclosed.

“AppNet will help us better reach consumers who shop online,” said Daniel
Alcazar, assistant vice president of marketing for Sprint’s Consumer Services
Group.

AppNet will develop creative campaigns, plan and execute online consumer
marketing strategies and initiatives, and analyze and optimize return on
investment through AppNet’s proprietary AdMaximize ad-serving and ad-tracking
service.

Programs will include opt-in email, promotions, banner advertising,
cooperative marketing and distribution partnerships.

AppNet offers a mix of Internet strategy, marketing and technology services.
Clients have included Baxter Healthcare, Dial, Ford, Ralston Purina, Hyundai,
multex.com, Value America, UNICEF, K-B Toys, NEC and Unilever.
