New York City-based VentureDirect Worldwide was named
online agency of record for drkoop.com, a consumer-oriented Internet
healthcare network headed by Dr. C. Everett Koop, former U.S. Surgeon General.
VentureDirect will help plan, develop and manage drkoop.com’s online
marketing programs with the goal of building brand awareness, finding
consumers who want to empower themselves with information, bringing them to
drkoop.com, and creating a loyal following. Billings were not disclosed.
