Innovative Medical Services said that its keyword banner
advertising and shopping network links with Lycos have been completed and will be
effective on Monday, Jan. 5.
The advertising will promote IMS’ Nutripure line of residential water systems,
including the Nutripure 2000 countertop water filtration system. Spending
details were not disclosed.
“Consumer inquiries about how and where they can buy Nutripure have led us to
accelerate our Internet retailing program–we were pleased to be able to
work with Lycos to quickly develop coordinated and targeted advertising for
our products and to efficiently link to their shopping network,” said Michael
L. Krall, Innovative Medical Services’ president and CEO. “We expect our Lycos
shopping presence, along with our Yahoo! presence and our home page store to
significantly increase sales in the next quarter.”
The company’s products can be purchased online from IMS’ Yahoo! Store at or from
its own Web site.
Innovative manufactures and markets water purification, measuring and
dispensing equipment used in pharmacies to reconstitute oral antibiotic
suspensions, and residential drinking water filtration systems for the
consumer market.
