Permission based e-mail marketing company yesmail.com said that four new partners
have joined the YesMail Permission Email Network: IDG’s TipWorld,
Homestead.com, Colleges.com and Net Nanny Software.
The YesMail Network consists of more than 60 partners and provides e-commerce
companies access to millions of consumers who have given their permission to
receive promotional messages targeted to their personal interests.
“On average, we are adding between 15,000 and 20,000 new YesMail Members per
day who originate on our Network Partners’ sites,” said Dave Tolmie, chief executive officer of
yesmail.com.
“In addition, we periodically transfer hundreds of thousands of consumers at
a time to our network that have an existing permission relationship with one
of our partners.”
IDG’s TipWorld is a publisher of advice,
news and learning by e-mail. Homestead.com is an online resource for
building free Web sites.
Colleges.com is a “virtual campus” through
which visitors can “walk” through the different buildings ranging from the
Student Center to the Coliseum.
Net Nanny provides online protection for
individuals, schools and businesses and is developing other security-related
products.
