Zenoss Expands Network Service Monitoring

Commerical open source network monitoring vendor Zenoss is rebranding and expanding its enterprise offerings this week.

The new Zenoss Service Dynamics Suite enables network admins to monitor physical and virtual assets across a network. The system also provides service impact management to enable admins to do root cause analysis.

“We have had the core resource monitoring capabilities with Zenoss Core and Enterprise, and now what we’ve done is completed the visions by adding a service modeling and impact management,” Zenoss CEO Bill Karpovich told InternetNews.com “So together we have an end-to-end product that is purpose built for hybrid IT cloud datacenter.”
