Cisco Launches Video and Wi-Fi Products at CES

Cisco used the CES 2013 event this week to announce a trio of announcements, including new video, Wi-Fi and home security efforts.

Cisco is updating its Videoscape video delivery platform with the new Videoscape Unity effort. Videoscape Unity includes the ability to have cloud-backed Digital Video Recording and provides a new user interface.

Videoscape Unity is an evolution of the Videoscape effort that Cisco announced at the CES 2011 event. The new platform elements are being brought over from Cisco’s $5 billion acquisition of NDS in 2012.
