Every so often, a bug shows up in an open-source application that just make me go ..huH? That’s the case with Mozilla firefox bug 949446 which has the ominous title of: “Source Code Disclosure of every possible project”
For proprietary software, software source code disclosure is a big deal, it’s often labelled as a security breach and can sometime be the result of a hacker attack.Mozilla however isn’t proprietary software.
One of the bug responders simply wrote:
Mozilla is open source, we share everything.
