Broadband wireless product provider Alvarion Ltd. , with headquarters in both Tel Aviv and Carlsbad, Calif., today announced an integration deal powering one of its latest products.

Jasbir Singh, CEO of Pronto Networks of Pleasanton, Calif. says the Alvarion BreezeACCESS GO, a turnkey solution for hotspot operators, includes an integrated gateway with access point, which is a re-branded Pronto hotspot controller.

He says Alvarion has also added an outdoor access unit, the BS-DS.11 to connect to up to 128 remote sites. Alvarion’s end-to-end solution also includes a Public Access Controller and Operations Support System (OSS). The OSS handles all authentication, billing and payment, and roaming for large public access networks.

The Alvarion BreezeACCESS GO products were launched in March and have been selling in Europe.

Singh says Pronto has been “differentiating from the pack with more channels and partners like Alvarion. We’ll have more announcements coming in the next months with others.”
