[VIDEO] Broadcom EVP & GM Networking, Rajiv Ramaswami

Rajiv Ramaswami is the Executive Vice-President and General Manager of the Infrastructure and Networking Group at Broadcom and he is leading his company’s networking efforts. In an exclusive video interview with Enterprise Networking Planet Ramaswami details where ARM fits in and why continued silicon innovation is necessary.

“We’re a chip company and we build chips,” Ramaswami explained. “The chips we build span service provider, Broadcom Rajiv Ramaswamienterprise, data center and also small medium sized business networks.”

For Ramaswami, the key challenge in moving his business forward is all about continuing to accelerate the pace of innovation.

“From a technology perspective, it’s about keeping the pedal to the metal and continuing to drive new geometries,” Ramaswami said. “Innovation is our lifeblood, we have to keep innovating and driving new technologies forward.”
