The companies said the joint offering will help customers adopt virtualization with greater speed and simplicity.

The Financial Times reported on Tuesday that the VMware had also struck similar preinstallation deals with Dell, IBM and Fujitsu Siemens.

On Monday, VMware announced four new virtualization applications — Lifecycle Manager, Lab Manager, Stage Manager and Site Recovery Manager — which the company said keeps machines and their data safe and manageable.
