What Will and What Won’t Land in OpenStack Juno? [VIDEO]

In a video interview with ServerWatch, Jonathan Bryce and Mark Collier, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the OpenStack Foundation, respectively, OpenStack Ironicdetail some of the innovations in the pipeline for the OpenStack Juno release.

Bryce noted that work is underway for object storage policies that will enable different storage back-ends. The policy could enable an OpenStack administrator to determine on an object-by-object basis which back-end should be used.
