800 Travel Systems in Alliance for Internet Auction Service

Tampa, FL-based 800 Travel Systems Inc., operator of lowairfare.com, signed a letter of
intent to form an alliance with Cumetrix Data Systems Corp., enabling it to
conduct auctions on its travel portal.

Cumetrix is a provider of computer-related
products, peripherals and configuration services. Financial terms were not
disclosed.

Through Cumetrix e-commerce partner Online Transaction Technologies Inc., a
provider of Internet auction and trading technology, 800 Travel Systems will
have the capacity
to provide its members and affiliates with full auction-style capabilities.

company into a full service Internet portal site with travel driving our
membership,” said George Warde, chairman of 800 and former president and
CEO of American
Airlines. “Travel is the number one reason why people shop the Internet, and
800 is already there with a one of a kind interactive reservation system. We
are leveraging our ability to provide
discounted airfare to offer our members complimentary Products and Services
over the Internet as well as through our strong call centers.”
