Anteon Lands $45M in Federal Contracts

Fairfax, Va.-based government contractor Anteon International Corp. has landed two federal contracts worth $45 million.

The largest of the deals is with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, where Anteon will provide a range of information technology and engineering services, development, and software support. Specific services will include network customer support, information systems security and information assurance, application development, and data network infrastructure management.

If all options (base year plus four option years) in the five-year deal are exercised, the contract value is $38 million.

The company was also awarded a five-year (base year plus four option years) task order to support the Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanographic Command (CNMOC). The deal is valued at more than $7 million, if all options are exercised.

CNMOC’s mission is to collect, interpret and apply global data and information for safety at sea, strategic and tactical warfare, and weapons system design, development and deployment. Under the contract, Anteon will provide information technology services to CNMOC at Stennis Space Center, Miss., and the Chief of Naval Operations, including IT system architecture, legacy IT systems and data administration support.
