Beyond Software Offers EnterpriseWeb Secure/VM 1.1

Beyond Software Inc., a provider of solutions for transforming legacy applications, released EnterpriseWeb Secure/VM 1.1 this week, a secure enterprise Web Server for the VM operating environment.


San Jose, CA-based Beyond also announced the availability of a U.S. Department of Commerce-approved export version of the product.


Designed to give businesses the ability to Web-enable their legacy applications, the product offers Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, using the SecureWeb Toolkit from Spyrus Inc. (formerly Terisa Systems).


Customers are offered a modular set of programs designed to easily expand to take advantage of any new advances in encryption technology. Transactions between the server and the browser have up to 168-bit encryption.


EnterPriseWeb Secure/VM 1.1 also features newly added Session Identifier (ID) caching features.


Projected general availability for Enterprise Web Secure/VM 1.1 is
slated for April.
