CarParts.com Signs with PeopleSupport

Auto parts e-tailer CarParts.com launched real-time customer
service on its site in conjunction with PeopleSupport.

Using a joint customer-care management approach, consumers may interact with
PeopleSupport.com’s eReps to obtain real-time assistance for general
information 24 hours a day.

In addition, customers have the option to
directly query CarParts.com’s sales specialists, who will answer specific,
part-related questions via real-time interactive chat seven days a week,
during specified times.

PeopleSupport.com’s eReps are trained in CarParts.com’s
automotive-accessories site and will aid site visitors with customer-service-
and sales-support related inquiries.

Financial arrangements were not
disclosed. “Carparts.com is about getting the part you need when you want it. That
immediate service is the essence of PeopleSupport.com,” said Lance
Rosenzweig, chairman and president of PeopleSupport.com
