Outsourced e-commerce transaction services company CyberSource Corp. signed luxury goods
retailer Ashford.com for its Payment and Risk
Management Services.
Ashford.com carries a selection of diamonds and more than 13,000 upscale
watches, designer jewelry, leather accessories, sunglasses, fragrances, bath
and body products, ties, scarves and writing instruments.
Ashford.com has implemented CyberSource Credit Card Services and the
CyberSource Internet Fraud Screen enhanced by Visa, both part of the
CyberSource Internet Commerce Suite.
“We chose to use the CyberSource eCommerce infrastructure, because it allows
us to
offer our customers a quick and easy ‘checkout’ process and gives us a
reliable way to prevent the potential for online fraud — helping us maximize
sales with minimum risk,” said Kenny Kurtzman, chief executive officer of Ashford.com.
Ashford.com implemented CyberSource services using the CyberSource
Commerce Component for ASP (Active Server Pages) on the Microsoft Platform.
The CyberSource Internet Commerce Suite includes: credit card services, gift
certificate and promotional services, tax calculation, Internet fraud screen
enhanced by visa, fulfillment messaging, delivery address verification,
digital delivery, digital warehousing, policy compliance, and export
compliance.
