Chris Peterson, president of Times Direct Marketing, Inc., a San Francisco
direct marketing agency, will be the keynote speaker at the E-Commerce
Workshop sponsored by The Direct
Marketing Association’s

Marketing Technology & Internet Council.

Peterson’s presentation will be made Nov. 10, from noon to 2 p.m. at the
Sheraton Hotel in New York City.

Peterson will present direct response strategies for achieving e-commerce
profitability and will discuss e-commerce from a direct marketer’s
perspective.

“Very few organizations today are using online media profitably when it comes
to selling merchandise directly online,” said Peterson. “This speech will
address the issues and provide a framework for achieving profitability. The
topics will include how e-commerce companies need to reposition their approach
to selling on the Internet from direct sale to one of creating a sales cycle
with ongoing communication programs.”

Times Direct Marketing services include direct mail, online marketing and
return on investment analysis of direct marketing programs.
