RT, a technology magazine for retail executives,
is presenting “eRetailing
’98–The Online Retailing Summit” featuring Shop.org, the online retailers association,
from Oct. 4 -6.


At eRetailing ’98 , leaders in
online
retailing and e-commerce will address key online marketing topics,
including customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer service
strategies.


Speakers and panelists include senior corporate and e-commerce executives at
consumer online retail companies including 1-800-Flowers, Inc, Amazon.com,
CompareNet,
CyberShop, Eddie Bauer, Estee Lauder, Garden Escape, Greet Street, iBaby,
iQVC, N2K, NetGrocer, Omaha Steaks, ONSALE Inc, PriceLine, Surplus
Direct/Egghead.com Company, Travelocity and Buena Vista Internet Group, Disney
Online.


During the conference, shop.org in conjunction with The Boston Consulting
Group (BCG) will release preliminary results of an industry-wide survey
assessing e-retailing market size, growth, and financial and operational
performance metrics.


The conference is being held at the Roosevelt Hotel 45 East 45th St. in
Manhattan.
