eCom eCom.com Acquires Swap and Shop

eCom eCom.com Inc. acquired the Swap and Shop Web site, the latest
addition to its new Trading Club concept. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Trading Club is a full-
service online trading facility. Swap and Shop enables members to post notices
of items that they would like to trade for other goods.

With this added
ability to swap their goods, club members are now armed with three different
venues for personal electronic commerce–a silent auction, a newspaper
classified advertising format and the new forum for swapping.

Under development is a storefront Web site that provides an opportunity for
visual display of merchandise offered for sale at a set price. This virtual
store would be available to all Trading Club members, but it is expected to be
particularly attractive to small business customers. Company officials also
said they are planning to experiment with a live auction conducted via the
Internet.

An annual membership fee of $36 earns club members the right to unlimited use
of all Trading Club venues. eCom eCom.com is the parent company to the eCom
eCom Trading Club and the US Amateur Sports Company. US Amateur Sports owns
USA Performance Products Inc., a paintball manufacturer, and it is developing
USA SportsNet, an Internet portal to provide amateur athletes access to sports
information, products and services.
