Wilmington, DE-based First USA, the nation’s largest Visa and
MasterCard lender, said its VersaPay digital wallet has been adopted by a
number of Internet merchants and commerce sites.

New users of the technology include Borders.com, CBS MarketWatch, CoolSavings,
Cyberian Outpost, FANSonly, Impulse! Buy Network, iVillage, Recompute,
SkyMall, ToySmart, Virtual Technology Corp., Virtual Vineyards and ZD
Net
.

The VersaPay digital wallet, which is built on the new InstaBuy Agile Wallet
Platform by CyberCash, provides for one-click shopping at any online site
using the VersaPay service.

Consumers can register for the VersaPay service by visiting sites that use the
digital wallet. Once registered, consumers can use VersaPay at all merchants
offering the service. The VersaPay wallet also is available to First USA’s
more than 56 million card holders.

“First USA is giving consumers a simple-to-use and secure digital wallet to
make their online shopping experience extremely positive, while merchants get
a wallet that helps facilitate the completion of purchase transactions,” said
Jim Stewart, executive vice president for partnership and Internet marketing.
“In addition, online merchants get the added benefit of being exposed to First
USA cardmembers, who are also potential online
customers armed with the VersaPay wallet.”

The VersaPay digital wallet helps eliminate security concerns by allowing
customers to enter billing and shipping information just once, then storing it
in a secure location ready for the next time the customer shops online.
