GlobalMedia.com, fashiontv.com Team for Streaming E-Commerce

E-commerce and streaming media solutions company GlobalMedia.com this week signed a licensing deal
with fashiontv.com, which also launched a beta version of the
fashiontv.com integrated media player.

Paris-based fashiontv.com will use
GlobalMedia’s media player, streaming media and e-commerce solutions to
provide a rich media destination for site “for the fashionable and those who
simply enjoy watching fashion models and the fashion lifestyle.”

GlobalMedia is working with fashiontv.com to develop “the ultimate
fashion
experience: a 24/7 continuously updated all fashion media player, delivering
runway shows, photo shoots, news, and events from around the world.”
Financial arrangements between the companies were not disclosed.

The player provides viewers with fashion updates, seasonal collections,
industry reports, and news about coming trends.

Global Media and fashiontv.com said they plan to feature and sell designer
clothes from around the world as well as to market fashiontv.com’s own line
of casual clothing, swimwear, clubwear and accessories.

“We are confident that combining GlobalMedia’s state of the art delivery
technology with fashiontv.com’s compelling content is a natural fit,” said

Fashiontv.com owns and operates f.tv, a 24-hour international fashion television
