iMALL Inc., a
provider of electronic commerce
services and operator of an Internet shopping mall, opened another mall,
within college community animalhouse.com.

The mall is located in the “shopping” section of the site, and is designed to
cater to a target market of 18 to 25-year-olds, predominantly college
students.

Retailers CDnow, Spencer Gifts, Secondspin.com and Condomania are on board, as
well as product lines including Panasonic, Sharp, Sony, Upper Deck, Perry
Ellis, Seiko, Denon, Pioneer, Santa Cruz Skateboards, Shrooms T-Shirts and
Slap-On Art Decals.

animalhouse.com is designed as a virtual hangout for college students to
congregate and catch up on current events, get a job, chat, build communities,
conduct research, construct Web sites and shop.

“iMALL has gathered a premier collection of some of today’s most desirable
brands geared towards college students,” said Jay Samit, president of
animalhouse.com. “This gives us the ability to make shopping fun, easy and
convenient while passing on
substantial discounts directly to the students.”

Plans call for a clothing section on the mall called “The Street.” Also in the
works is a local retailers section and an online personal shopping concierge.
The local retailer’s section features stores in and around particular college
campuses where student users are able to get valuable coupons, offers and
products from stores in their area.

The “Mall Concierge” will offer students the chance to chat real time with a
shopping specialist.
