Infomedia Launches Deal of Day Site

Nov 12, 1999

Infomedia Inc. launched Deal of Day , a site designed to present
“the best bargains offered by major merchants online.”

Not a merchant in itself, Deal of Day acts as a shopping agent, helping
consumers find the best deals on music, movies, books, games, toys, sporting
goods, pet supplies, gifts, flowers and other items. Visitors will find daily
deals from merchants, including discounts, free items and other incentives.

“More people than ever before are shopping online. But very few know where to
find the true bargains,” said Joel Comm, president of Infomedia.

“Due to our
affiliation with the net’s largest merchants, we are able to bring all the
best bargains under one easy-to-use
umbrella.”

Deal of Day also offers DealTalk, a message board community where
participants may read or post messages related to deals, freebies, merchants, and anything
else related to online commerce and DealChat, a live chat forum.

In conjunction with LivePhoneCard.com, Deal of Day is currently offering a
free 30-minute phone card to consumers who subscribe to the Deal of Day
weekly newsletter.

InfoMedia operates nine Web properties, including WorldVillage, The IdeaBox, ToyLab, FamilySeek, Family First, and Club WV.
