JDA, Blue Martini to Deliver E-Commerce Solution for Retailers

JDA Software Group Inc. and Blue Martini Software formed a
partnership to interface Blue Martini’s e-merchandising system on the
front-end with JDA’s merchandising, warehouse and financial applications at
the back end.

The resulting integrated solution will be available for both brick and mortar
retailers expanding on the Internet and Internet pure plays requiring proven
back-office functionality.

“Our partnership with Blue Martini will enable us to offer our retail clients
yet another option for a complete e-commerce solution featuring a dynamic
storefront,” said Jim Armstrong, chief executive officer of JDA.

“JDA offers to Internet merchants the proven, scalable systems for order
processing and fulfillment that have been sorely lacking in e-commerce
solutions,” said Monte Zweben, CEO of Blue Martini Software.

“Internet selling initiatives have encountered deployment delays due to the custom
coding needed to integrate commerce servers into their retail systems. By
making JDA functionality available to our customers, we can accelerate
deployment and streamline operations.”

JDA and Blue Martini are working to integrate their products in three areas:
merchandise management, fulfillment and customer relationship management.
