E-commerce site performance measurement company Keynote launched the Keynote Perspective
Global 50 and Transaction 25 services.
The two new services expand to 50 the number of statistically selected
metropolitan locations around the world from which Keynote measures
e-commerce quality of service.
Coverage now includes all key Internet population centers around the world,
the company said.
The Keynote Perspective Global 50 service at $1,495 per URL per month
delivers Internet performance and availability measurements from 25 cities
outside the U.S. and 25 cities in the U.S. covering the major Internet
population centers in Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America.
Keynote said it has deployed about 300 measurement computers at Internet
access points around the world based on studies regarding where the largest
concentrations of Internet users are and how they connect to
the Internet.
The Keynote Perspective Transaction 25 service at $2,495 per month expands
Keynote’s basic Transaction 10 service. With the additional geographic
coverage, e-commerce companies can now measure the performance and
availability of complete multi-step online transactions, such as buying a
book or executing a stock trade, from up to 25 cities across the U.S.
Also, customers can now choose the Transaction 10 service at $995 for a
national view
of transaction performance from 10 U.S. cities, and then add measurements
from as many additional U.S. cities as required at $149 each.
Keynote captures more than 16 million performance measurements daily.
Customers include Amazon.com, Cisco Systems, DoubleClick, Dell and Compaq,
among others.
