Microsoft, HP Co-Launch New IT Appliances

Microsoft and HP have already forged a significant partnership that aligns two titans of the software and hardware sectors. And with a new announcement this week, the firms are doubling down on that alliance.

Microsoft and HP have unveiled a quartet of new IT infrastructure appliances that aim to ease the pain associated with an array of business processes, catering both to enterprises and SMBs.

The new tools are billed as “converged application appliances that fuse applications, infrastructure and productivity tools into a single system,” the companies said.

Among the processes addressed are business intelligence, data warehousing and messaging.

CIO Update has all the details about the new offerings from Microsoft and HP.
