MovieFone Signs Agreement With Clearview Cinemas

MovieFone Inc., the movie listing and ticketing service,
signed an exclusive
agreement with Clearview Cinemas, a unit of Cablevision Systems Corp., to
provide information and ticketing services for more than 275 movie screens, in
the New York area.

Both the MovieFone (777-FILM) telephone service and its online sister service
Movielink.com are involved. Financial
arrangements were not disclosed.

Clearview Cinemas became a major player in the New York market when it
recently purchased the former Cineplex Odeon locations in Manhattan, including
the historic Ziegfeld Theatre.

This announcement comes on the heels of similar agreements recently signed by
MovieFone with three other top theater chains (Loews Cineplex Entertainment,
United Artists Theater Circuit, and AMC Entertainment Inc.).

In addition to providing information and ticketing through MovieFone and
Movielink.com, Clearview will also replace its own individual theater phone
lines with MovieFone numbers to eliminate busy signals and enhance customer
service, and will promote MovieFone and Movielink.com on its screens.

MovieFone will also manage Clearview’s own Web site, providing
detailed movie information, showtimes, theater locations, and ticket sales.
