MusicBlitz, a music and technology company that funds artists to record new
music and video content, has launched MetalBlitz, a heavy metal Web site and
accompanying weekly FM radio show.

The MetalBlitz features world premieres, interactive features and exclusive
music from bands such as Motorhead, Kittie, Biohazard, Static-X, Dio, W.A.S.P. and many others. The radio show will be broadcast in Los Angeles on Saturdays from 9:00-10:00 PM on 97.1 KLSX-FM and will be simulcast on the
Web.

All of the exclusive songs are also available as free MP3
downloads.

“Los Angeles has been without a heavy metal station for more than five years
and there is an audience of dedicated fans just waiting to be tapped. With
its online synergy, MetalBlitz offers a whole new programming approach and
gives us a compelling way to reach the heavy metal audience,” commented Jack
Silver, program director, KLSX-FM.
