MusicHQ.com Enters the Online Music Sales Battle

New York City-based DVD Holding Corp. has launched MusicHQ.com, an interactive music shopping
experience that offers discounts, wide selection of titles, information on the
music scene and a variety of browsing and search options.

“We did a thorough analysis of the online music shopping opportunities for
consumers and felt none offered the ideal shopping experience along with the
power of the Internet,” said Eric Garrison, president of DVD Holding Corp.

.Although it utilizes the power of the Internet, MusicHQ.COM is laid out much
like a music store in order to provide a more enjoyable browsing experience.”

The store discounts up to 30 percent off list price and offers flat fee
shipping of
$4 U.S./$5 Canada) no matter how many CDs consumers buy.

The site has a relationship with The All Music Guide to offer information on
more than 350,000 albums, 1.8 million song titles, bio information on 30,000
artists and reviews of over 120,000 albums.

MusicHQ.com said it plans an aggressive marketing campaign with several
promotional partners. Marketing/promotional partners at launch include: teen
community site BOLT.com, Yahoo’s! Treasure Hunt, Alta
Vista
and GOTO search engines, DoubleClick, The Globe Online Community and
Burst Media.

DVD Holding Corp. also manages DVDFlix.com, “where shoppers can choose from
over 3,000 different DVD titles as well as 200,000 videos, laser discs and
CDs.
