Online grocer NetGrocer
Wednesday relaunched its Web site and unveiled a new business model
designed to make online shopping more simple, efficient and economical.

The revamped site features easier and speedier navigation, a store
directory, recommended purchases by category and online coupons. The site
now has separate sections for groceries, gifts and drug store items.

“A faster and more user friendly site is a more profitable site, both for
our customers who save time and
money and for the company as a sustainable business model,” said Fred
Horowitz, Netgrocer’s president and chief executive officer.

“Our improvement strategy is driven by four major goals, to enhance our
customer’s shopping experience, to provide manufacturers with direct
consumer contact, increase sales and improve margins.”

NetGrocer currently offers more than 6,000 products to a national customer
base.
