Network Solutions Signs Earthlink for Its Alliance Program

Domain registrar Network Solutions
Inc.
in Herndon, Va. has signed independent Internet provider Earthlink as a member of its
Alliance Program.


The program enables Network Solutions and participating companies to
provide reciprocal distribution channels. Under the
terms of the agreement, Earthlink will provide its customers with a link to
Network Solutions’ domain name registration and other services. Network
Solutions will also provide its customers with a link to Earthlink’s Web
hosting and dial-up Internet access.


“We’ve had a very positive relationship with Earthlink in our Premier
Domain Registration Services program and we’re taking it to the next level,”
said Doug Wolford, NSI’s senior vice president of marketing. “Earthlink
offers quality Internet access and affordable Web hosting targeted at the
small business market which helps us better serve our small business
customers.”


Earthlink now offers Network Solutions’ InterNIC domain name
registration and will soon be offering RegistrationPlus, Network Solutions’
real-time Web-based registration service. Earthlink will also market Network
Solutions’ idNames country code top-level domain registration services.


Network Solutions will provide a link to Earthlink Sprint’s Internet access
services and Starter Site Web hosting program geared to the small and
medium- business market.
