Snap!, an Internet portal service from CNET: The Computer Network, and Preview Travel Inc. signed a distribution and marketing pact that makes Preview Travel the exclusive provider
of reservation services in Snap!’s Travel Resource Center.

The Preview Travel partnership marks Snap!’s first e-commerce deal since its
recent CNET-NBC joint venture announcement. Financial terms were not
disclosed.

Preview Travel offers an integrated solution that will enable Snap! users to
obtain travel information and book airline tickets, vacation packages, hotel
reservations and car rentals.

Snap!’s travel audience will also have access to many of Preview Travel’s
other resources, including Destination Guides with content from Fodor’s Travel
Publications Inc., Farefinder, Carfinder, Business Travel Center, custom mini-
guides and a travel newswire.

“Preview Travel has a well-earned reputation for offering high-quality service
and in-depth travel information to consumers,” said Halsey Minor, CNET’s
chairman and CEO and CEO of Snap!. “We’re delighted to welcome Preview Travel
to Snap!’s growing list of partners, and they’re well-positioned to capitalize
on the accelerated user growth we expect from the pending NBC partnership.”

Snap!’s Travel Resource Center features a searchable directory that compiles
Web resources on travel, programmed daily by editors who hand-select and
screen links for their quality and relevance. Snap! offers travel planning
information where visitors can obtain travel news and events listings, as well
as participate in travel chats.
