QuikBIZ Internet Group Acquires QuikLAB Multimedia Centers

QuikBIZ Internet Group Inc. (formerly called Algorhythm Technologies) said that it acquired QuikLAB Multimedia Centers Inc. as a wholly owned subsidiary.

QuikLAB is a seven-year-old company that operates a “one-stop” retail superstore of Internet and multimedia services. Financial details were not disclosed.

QuikLAB is similar in concept to a Kinko’s Copy Center business format, but focuses on video, audio and interactive media. It is designed to provide services in the development of Internet and Intranets sites, CD-ROM-based programs, video and audio production, interactive kiosks, video and audio encoding, animation, video/audio/CD duplications and media package design.

“Our corporate strategy is to provide businesses with electronic solutions for corporate communications, advertising, marketing, public relations and financing,” said David Bawarsky, CEO of QuikBIZ Internet Group. “The acquisition of QuikLAB is important for the growth of QuikBIZ Internet Group. It brings the vehicle to develop, expand and promote QuikBIZ Internet Group’s subsidiaries.”

QuikBIZ Internet Group is a holding company that operates A.D.S Advertising Inc. and Capital Network of America Corp. These subsidiaries provide complementary and additional services beyond QuikLAB Multimedia Centers.
